At Hills Dental, we believe in giving back.
Our dentists regularly volunteer through the Australian Dental Health Foundation, offering free dental treatments to those suffering from homelessness or domestic violence.
We also provide dental services to Common Ground, an organisation aimed at bringing together people on low incomes in a residential complex, with support services, workshops and training activities.
Hills Dental Group also supports the City to Bay charity fun run and are heavily involved in the Christmas Pageant.
What This Means For You
We regularly speak at local schools and kindergartens about the importance of keeping your teeth healthy. If your school would like one of our dentists to visit during the school term, contact us.
Recycle Your Toothbrush at Hills Dental
You can even recycle your toothbrushes at Hills Dental through Colgate® and TerraCycle’s free recycling program for oral care product packaging!
The program accepts:
- Toothpaste tubes and caps
- Manual toothbrushes
- Electric toothbrush heads
- Toothbrush and toothpaste tube plastic packaging
- Floss containers
Here are some tips to make sure we can recycle your waste effectively:
- Make sure all excess product has been removed for toothpaste and floss
- If you rinse your product, it must be completely dry before you bring it in for recycling
- Please recycle your cardboard packaging in your regular kerbside recycling bin
